It has been a while!

It's been a very long while since I've been on blogger!
So long, in fact, it took me ridiculous amount of time to remember how to even make a new post!

I need to redo this place. I think I may make this more of my mommy-related-stuff posting site. haha

Good night for now, if I have any actual followers. :)

New post, finally!

Things have been so insanely busy lately!

I have been working really hard on the Bible lessons for camp this year. I can't believe I'm going to be the Bible teacher for the 10/11 year old girls! I'm so nervous, but everyone thinks I'll do great at it.
Since I'm such a horrible procrastinator I've been working on bits at a time every chance I get.

Poor Brea is not very happy right now because she's fighting her nap very hard. Her wailing has gone down to little whimpers, though.. she sounds so cute!!

her two little teeth are ADORABLE! still no pictures of them yet, though :(

I'm so sleepy!

Andy's been picking up tons of overtime lately, since our apartments rent was raised $130 A MONTH! boo. This wasn't fun news.

These last few mornings I've been making pancakes for Andy when he comes in to eat. He's loved it! The recipe I found I love, too! It's SO easy and SO good!
Andy says they're the best pancakes he's ever eaten! yay!

I have quite a bit to do before the end of this weekend, and today.

This Saturday is 2 of our really good friends' wedding! Ah! I can't believe it. I have to fix the straps of my dress I'm wearing to modest-ify it ;)
It's such a pretty dress!
Momma got it for me while we were in Kentucky. Her, Brandy, and I had been shopping together just about all day! hehe so fun!

So the kitchen is already nice and clean after breakfast. I just need to fold some laundry and vacuum the livingroom before our little grazer (Brea of course ;)) comes through nibbling on the carpet! hehe

Y'all have an awesome day!!

I live!

After going through MUCH trouble trying to log in to Blogger with my old accounts and getting all my passwords changed, I'm here again!

I certainly hope to update this a little bit more.

a few major changes in my life have happened since I've updated...

. I'm married!!! to a wonderful man! :D Phillip Andrew Cravens, whom I love with all my life and whom is the best husband in the entire world!

. I moved! Now Andy and I have our own adorable little place in Georgia, which I need to go clean now.

. Momma and daddy recently visited us here and spent 4 days :D it was so wonderful! We had a wonderful time!!

before typing a whole lot, I'm going to try and post this now. Hopefully it works! ;)

(and hopefully I won't get so much spam from now on!! ;))

Forgiveness...

Why is it so hard to forgive?

Lately that question has came to mind as I've thought of the kind of people you stumble across..
the bitter, begrudging ones. The ones that never have anything good to say, and are always tearing someone down. Finally, the root of this bitterness and spite emerges.
"if they had have only listened to ME when I tried telling them..."
"they didn't want MY help/advice..."
"they didn't help ME when I needed help..."
The root to most unforgiving attitudes, to bitterness and hatred, I think, is pride.
Your pride was wounded somehow or another and you hold too tightly to it to allow forgiveness.
Instead you nurse your wounded pride which turns into a full-fledged grudge.

I wrote a poem to that extent, sometime ago.
Here goes.

"All in angry voices
tearing feelings to the ground
apparently there is not enough
forgiveness to go around.
All in the race to defend
and never overlook
Everyone becomes their own
murderer and crook.

Save yourselves
Before it is too late
Surely there is time
to get away - escape
Break away
Before it is too late
Drop the chains
One grudge is all it takes--
to destroy.

Dont let this fire
consume our souls and minds
surely there is something
that can heal the blind
and cease the spirit
that causes us to kill
another reputation -
a fellow human's will.

Get away
Before it is too late
Break the binding
Make a step away
Throw away the chains
before it is too late
Don't fight so hard for fame
Or by your own fate
you destroy.

A losing battle
To preserve a name you never earned
caring little how many
others might get burned
Fighting harder
each time you fail again
heart getting harder
Can you not see your sin?

Move on
Before it's too late
While you have a chance
Change your path
Stop this war dance
Turn around
Before it's too late
Your heart put in the ground --
Destroyed"

Happy Lord's day!

Well, I've forgotton about this little blog. Probably because I don't know anyone on it. ;D But it's fun to look at, so I will continue.

We are loved with an everlasting love. We have been forgiven of our many sins by an Almighty God, and promised one day to live with Him forever. What amazing, beautiful thoughts.
And yet....
We continue to revel in the "pleasures" of sin, but can we as true Christians call it pleasure??

For a Christian to go back into the world for 'pleasure' is as an angel going to hell for enjoyment."
Is this not true? If we are still clinging to the remnants of our former life, let us examine ourselves.

How sad, the unlost world, striving for popularity and fleshly love that ends only in pain, sorrow, and eternal hell. How can we sit contentedly twiddling our thumbs, singing praises to our God, and attending church twice every Sunday and once each Wednesday and allow those we come in contact with to walk away- untouched. How can we hold back this love, this amazing love and forgiveness from the wanderer? How can we take our own little prize and watch others slip into eternity, not contending with their souls? Oh, when will we wake up??

I leave you now with my latest musings. Thanks to all for reading.

In Christian love,

_Kimi

Earth created by chance?

Can chance create a sunrise which
emblazes scarlet skies?
Can chance provide the sparkling
that brightens happy eyes?
Can chance design such beauty
that surrounds us every day?
Could we be made by accident,
is it to chance we pray?
The highest flying birds and clouds
the deepest seas yet to explor
The mountain tops in misty shrouds--
and yet you must see more?
The feeling of a human heart
The ability to cry and love,
Chance can't fit into this part,
All is from our God above.
Created in his image,
whos souls are bought by blood
No where in this life can fit
The chance we're made by luck.

They are truly 'without excuse'.
